In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the recommended precautionary measures intended to mitigate community spread, we have decided to make the following temporary adjustments to our operations:
Effective Thursday, November 19, 2020, all branch lobbies will be closed to public access. Our drive up services will be available during our normal business hours for your convenience. For transactions that you are unable to complete through available options, please schedule an appointment with a Branch Staff Member or your Relationship Manager. In addition, there will be no appointments available during Saturday hours. These operational changes will remain in effect until further notice.
The COVID-19 pandemic situation will continue to be monitored as it progresses, and these operational changes will remain in effect until further notice.
Digital Services
We would like to remind you that we offer digital banking services that make it easy for you to bank from home. Our digital services include:
- Online Account Opening –Now you can apply for select Woodlands Bank checking and savings accounts through our easy online application. Quickly and securely open an account from the convenience of your home.
- Online Banking –You can check your balance, make transfers, pay bills and reorder checks.
- Mobile Banking – Available through your smartphone device, you can check your balance, make transfers, deposit checks and pay bills. The app can be downloaded through Google Play and Apple App Store.

Financial Difficulties
Woodlands Bank continues to work with those experiencing financial difficulty as a result of COVID-19 impacts. As a Woodlands Bank customer, if you are experiencing a hardship as a result of COVID-19, please call us at 570.327.5263 (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday) to discuss your options. You can also email us here. Woodlands Bank offers a variety of hardship relief options that customers may be eligible for depending on their product(s) and needs. We will work one on one with you to determine the best fit.
Effective December 9, 2020, our Halls Station office will be temporarily closed until further notice. Please utilize any of our other 7 community offices until we are able to re-open. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Effective January 15, 2021, temporary operating hours for the Newberry office, until further notice:
- Friday (1/15/21): 10AM – 6PM
- Saturday (1/16/21): Closed

- Tuesday (1/19/21): 9AM – 4PM
- Wednesday (1/20/21): 9AM – 4PM
